Happy Friday! 

This week, I remained focused on restoring accountability where outside influence and failed systems have been allowed to divide our country and directly threaten the health and safety of the American people. From introducing legislation to expose foreign governments funding propaganda in our political system to bringing federal health leadership directly to Florida’s farming community for a conversation about harmful practices impacting American families, I worked to confront the influence shaping our country without the transparency the American people deserve. At every level, I will continue fighting to ensure America’s future is shaped by the people who love this country, not by the forces trying to undermine it.  

This week, I introduced the bipartisan Foreign Propaganda Disclosure Act to update FARA and require transparency from anyone taking foreign money to influence American politics. Foreign governments should not be able to secretly bankroll influencers or digital creators to push propaganda on the American people without disclosure.

My bill closes existing loopholes that have allowed foreign payments to be hidden through social media influence, digital platforms, or entities like LLCs. It’s time to fight back against foreign governments using psychological operations to divide our country from within, and Americans deserve to know exactly who is funding the messages targeting our political system.

This week, I was honored to host U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. at Life Farms in Clearwater for a roundtable discussion with leaders from Florida’s farming and agriculture community. The conversation focused on shaping a future for American agriculture built around regenerative farming, where producers are no longer boxed into chemical-heavy practices and families can trust that the food on their tables is grown with their health and safety prioritized.

On Tuesday, I was honored to visit with the Coptic Orthodox Church here in Florida’s 13th District and thank the fathers for their gracious hospitality. The Orthodox community helps keep our district vibrant and rich in culture, and we share a deep commitment to faith, family, and the pursuit of peace.
