Hello, Happy Friday! This week, I remained focused on what public service is supposed to look like when our constituents and the country come first. From securing federal support for critical infrastructure efforts in Pinellas County to ensuring those who served this country receive the recognition they earned, I worked to hold our government accountable for following through on the responsibilities entrusted to it. That responsibility also means keeping the American people safe and protecting this country from those who would seek to undermine it from within. At every level, public service should answer to one obligation and one agenda, putting Americans first.

Hello,

Happy Friday!

Delivering Critical Upgrades for Pinellas County

x

On Tuesday, I was proud to bring $750,000 home to Pinellas County for long-overdue improvements to the South Cross Bayou reclaimed water pump station. This is exactly the kind of critical local infrastructure federal dollars should be strengthening, especially after years of wear and damage from major storms.

I am glad to see this funding return to our community and help Pinellas County make the repairs needed to keep reliable reclaimed water service running for years to come.

Honoring the Service of a Living Legend

x

On Monday, I had the honor of re-presenting the Legion of Merit to retired U.S. Navy Captain Stanley Beach, nearly 40 years after the award he received in 1987 was never recorded on his DD-214. After my office worked with the Department of the Navy, the error was finally corrected and his military record was formally updated to include the Legion of Merit.

Making this right was the least our nation owes him for his service and sacrifice, and I am grateful my office could help make it happen. Thank you for your service, Captain Beach. You truly are a “living legend."

Bringing MAHA to Congress with Secretary Kennedy

x

I had the honor of sitting down with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to discuss our efforts in Congress to advance the MAHA movement. Our conversation focused on confronting the special interests that have shaped our food and health systems for far too long and on what we need to do to ensure the health of the American people comes first.

Lawlessness Cannot Lead America

x

The radical left is no longer hiding its agenda, and lawlessness is no longer a side effect of its policies but a cornerstone of the platform. They claim abolishing ICE and law enforcement is to protect Americans, but tearing down the very institutions responsible for keeping us safe would do the exact opposite.

There is no place in our government for anyone who does not have America's best interests at heart and is willing to put an agenda ahead of the country they were elected to serve.
