Hello,
Today, our nation pauses to remember one of the darkest days in American history and the courage that followed it. On this solemn day, I join the rest of my fellow Americans in honoring the innocent lives taken, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the men and women who answered the call to defend our country in the years that followed. We also remember the unity that brought Americans together in the days after the attack, when our country stood as one people with one purpose. Twenty-five years later, that remembrance must still carry resolve as we defend our homeland and remain vigilant against those who seek to harm the American people.

25 Years Later, We Will Never Forget
|
Twenty-five years ago this morning, our nation was forever changed as nearly 3,000 Americans went to work, boarded a flight, or reported for duty and never came home. In the years that followed, a generation of Americans answered the call to ensure their deaths were not in vain, and as a Veteran, I carry a personal responsibility to honor that sacrifice. When extremists chant "Death to America," we should take them at their word, and we owe it to those who gave everything to act accordingly. We will never forget, and we will never stop working to make sure a day like September 11th never happens again.

During this morning’s memorial service in Palm Harbor, I had the honor of meeting 9/11 survivor Genelle Guzman-McMillan, who was trapped beneath the rubble of the North Tower for 27 hours and became the last person rescued from the wreckage. Presenting her with a Congressional Coin was an incredible privilege, and her story of survival is a powerful reminder of the American spirit that carried our nation through one of its darkest days. We will never forget.

On Thursday, we marked one year since Charlie Kirk’s assassination and honored the life of a warrior who changed the trajectory of an entire generation. The day before I was supposed to leave for medical school, Charlie changed the trajectory of my life with a single phone call, and I later watched him awaken millions of young Americans to the role they have in saving this country.
|
A year later, I joined The Charlie Kirk Show to honor his memory and speak about why carrying his mission forward matters more than ever. As political violence and assassination rhetoric become increasingly normalized alongside radical socialism, Charlie’s blueprint must become action, and his legacy must live on through the generation he inspired.

Fighting to Stop Insider Trading
|
This week, I had the honor of addressing the RNC Midterm Convention in Dallas, as Republicans prepare for the fight ahead and the work still left to do.The midterm election in front of us may be the most consequential of our lifetime, one that will decide whether America continues down the path of strength and renewal that we have fought so hard to build, or whether we hand the country back to the failed policies that nearly destroyed it. Republicans have secured real wins on the issues Americans care about most, including the fight to end congressional insider trading, which I personally championed because public service was never meant to be a pathway to private wealth––for Nancy Pelosi or anyone else.
|
All of that progress and work cannot stop now, especially as foreign adversaries like China continue fueling much of the division and black-pill doom online to discourage Americans and distort the stakes in front of us. They want us to turn against each other and give up on the country, but we will not allow them to succeed. That is why seeing so many young people at the RNC reject the doom and gloom was a powerful reminder that the next generation is not backing down from the fight to shape America's future, and it is on all of us to carry that fight forward.
If you want a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes of my 24-hours in Dallas for the RNC Midterm Convention, watch our exclusive mini documentary below:

On Tuesday, I had the privilege of touring the new vessels in Tarpon Springs as the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) prepares its new ferry service connecting St. Petersburg and Tampa. It was a wonderful opportunity to see federal dollars coming home to Florida’s 13th District through a project that provides our community with another way to cross the bay while also bringing investment and jobs to local marine businesses.

Once fully refurbished, the Bay Clipper and Bay Breeze will help serve the Tampa Bay area year-round, strengthening the connection between our downtowns. I am grateful to witness this progress firsthand, and I look forward to seeing our residents and visitors benefit from all it will bring to our region.
